This article is strictly about Curry and its components.
For infos on the Curry used to gain the Gigantamax Factor refer to Max Soup.

Curry is a food Item that can be given to one of your Pokémon to eat (right-click) to provide multiple benefits. The benefits obtained will depend on the taste of the Curry, or, in other terms, its Quality.

The benefits given can space from restoring the Pokémon's HP/PP, curing its status conditions, increasing Friendship or providing Experience Points.

The player will also receive a considerable amount of Experience Points from Curry Cooking, the amount of XP received will depend on the output Curry Quality.

Cooking

Curry can be cooked anywhere by placing down a Cooking Pot. Grid Cooking Pot.png

As shown to the right, interacting with a Cooking Pot opens its GUI, composed by a total of 13 input slots and 1 output slot:

- The two slots in the middle are reserved to Bowls (needed) and Key Ingredients (optional).
- From 1 to 10 Berries can be placed in the external ring, the Quality and number of Berries determines the Taste Rating of the output.
- Logs are needed as Fuel, nothing else can be used as fuel material! One Log will be consumed for every Curry cooked.

When everything is in place, click on the Fire button Cooking Pot Ready.png to start cooking the Curry!

Ingredients

To cook Curry, a player will have to select the ingredients. There are two types of ingredients:

  • Main Ingredient (or Key Ingredient) - An optional ingredient, it can be used to create a different Type of Curry; a list of all the Key Ingredients can be found in the table below.
  • Side Ingredients - A needed ingredient, it can be one of the many existing Berries and is responsible of selecting the Flavor of the output Curry.

In the Currydex it is possible to check the best taste rating for each type of Curry, as well as the flavor and a short description.

Flavor

The Berries used will choose what flavor the output Curry will have. There are 6 possible Flavors for a Curry: Plain (no specific flavor), Spicy, Dry, Sweet, Bitter and Sour.

Each type of Berry (indipendently from the quality) has some specific Flavor values (listed in the table below). When used as Curry ingredients, the Berry flavor values will be transmitted to the output Curry.

The final flavor of the output Curry will be decided by the sum of all the Berries used as ingredients:

  • If the flavor with the highest total value is at least 20 points higher then any other Flavor; the Curry will have a prominent Flavor.
Ex: If 2 Chesto Berries (and no other Berries) are used as ingredients, the total flavor will be: Dry 20; making the output Curry Dry.
  • If no flavor is prominent (at least 20 points higher than any other Flavor); The Curry will have a Plain Flavor.
Ex: If 2 Chesto Berries and 1 Cheri Berry (and no other Berries) are used as ingredients, the total flavor will be: Spicy 10, Dry 20; as no flavor is prominent the Curry will be Plain.

Curry Types

There is a total of 151 Curry Types, determined by the Key Ingredient and the Flavor.

Each kind of Curry comes in all the 6 Flavors, except for the Gigantamax Curry that only comes in one Flavor.

The Curry Types and Flavors do not affect the Taste Rating or Pokémon preferences in any way, they only serve to be cataloged in the Curry Dex.
