External Moves are actions that can be executed by a Pokémon while outside of battle, comporting positive and useful effects or even destruction.
All the typical External Moves require the Pokémon to know a specific Move to be used. However, every Pokémon is able to use Forage.

Some Different External Moves do not require the Pokémon to know a specific Move, but can be used by a specific Pokémon under certain circumstances.

After using an External Move, a cooldown timer will be imposed on it, graying out the move's icon, and it cannot be used again until the timer expires.
The duration of the timer will depend on the Move used and the Pokémon's stats.

Usage

External moves can be used by doing the following:

  1. Send your Pokémon out of the Ball using R key, the External move selection menu will appear on the top-right section of your screen.
  2. Press B key to cycle between all the External moves your Pokémon knows and stop on the desired move.
  3. Press G key to use it (some moves will only take effect under specific conditions).
