A Love Ball is a Poké Ball that has an increased catch rate on Pokémon of both the same species but opposite gender as the player's Pokémon.
It has a 8x catch rate on Pokémon of the same species but opposite gender as the player's Pokémon; otherwise, it has a 1× modifier.
It can be obtained as a Pokéloot/Beastloot special drop, as random loot from Structures, as random drop from a Team Rocket Grunt NPC, and as a drop from certain wild Pokémon.
It can also be crafted using the following recipe:
